The iconic Ilima Hotel, a block from the world famous Waikiki Beach, has launched mobile responsive websites and online reservations systems in three Asian languages in response to market trends and consumer demands. Now travelers from Japan, Korea, and China can research and book reservations at Ilima Hotel from any digital device, including their cell phones, in their own language.
“Websites that are ain the customer’s language and mobile responsive are extremely important to the traveler from Asia,” said Noriko Puaa Director of Operations, PRTech, LLC, which designed and launched the websites. “Mobile research and bookings are on the rise and most internet users only make purchases or book reservations on websites where information is presented in their own language.”
PRTech, LLC., which provides online marketing and web solutions, developed the three new sites based on Ilima Hotel’s English website and incorporated its proprietary, multilingual reservations system, MyRez 4.0, into the sites’ designs. MyRez 4.0 has been shown to enhance the consumer experience, while increasing hotel bookings and facilitating revenue management. The MyRez booking engine was attached to the Chinese site for the first time.
The Asian-language sites were designed to mirror the brand essence of Ilima Hotel’s English website, but include additional information about accommodations and amenities for the Asian traveler, facilitating easier navigation and booking decisions.
PRTech developed Ilima Hotel’s first website in Japanese in 2003, attaching its original reservations system, which has now been upgraded to MyRez 4.0. PRTech will now manage all three Asian-language sites, providing content updates, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and monthly reports showing analytics results and MyRez 4.0 sales.
“With the new contemporary and mobile responsive designs, we expect bookings to increase even more year-over-year,” said Puaa.
