Hawaii—To capture a larger share of the growing international traveler market from China, Ala Moana Hotel has developed a Chinese language website in addition to its Japanese and Korean websites.

PRTech designed the website, which is responsive to mobile and digital formats. The new website, cn.alamoanahotel.com, was completed within two months and launched in March, in time for the client to use the new URL on a recent business trip to China.

Noriko Puaa, Director of Operations and project leader, said PRTech developed the site in CMS (Customer Management System) to help PRTech understand what types of content users are searching.

Ala Moana Hotel will convert its Japanese and Korean websites to responsive design for better viewing and functionality on mobile and other digital devices as well. Those sites are also linked to PRTech’s multilingual, online booking engine, MyRez.

PRTech provides website maintenance, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and analytics reports for all three Asian language Ala Moana Hotel websites.
